Predictive Dialer Simulator
Teleplex Version 3.63 introduces a Predictive Dialer Simulation mode. We
have used the simulator internally for years in order to test our dialer logic,
but have decided to open up this tool to customers and qualified prospects.
With the simulator you can do the following:
- Prospects can get a good idea of the "look and feel" of Teleplex with zero
investment in lines or hardware.
- Prospects and customers can exercise the simulator to test various
hypotheses regarding the number of agents, number of telephone lines, call
duration, answer rates, and other parameters that affect the performance of an
outbound campaign.
- Simulated traffic can be used in demonstrations to staff and your own
customers.
- The simulation results can be used as sample data when developing custom
reports.
Simulator mode exercises nearly every feature of Teleplex including database
access, agent login/logout, agent state changes, and other features, with up to
500 agents and up to 1000 telephone lines. However, telephone calls and agents
are faked (according to configuration settings and some random numbers),
allowing you to experiment even on a notebook computer.
